A Social Experiment - Pickup Lines - part one

One of the things that causes me much wonder in this modern dating scene is the effectiveness of pickup lines.How is it possible that these cheesy, corny, clichéd lines can actually open a conversation with a prospective partner successfully?I have decided to put my body on the line. For you, dear readers.I am going to go out into the night, armed only with a Jake Gyllenhaal grin (as there is obviously quite the similarity) and a collection of pickup lines, to gauge their effectiveness.To make this more interesting, I want you to supply me with said lines.I have one already courtesy of @MissGreenFairy - which I shall reveal in due course.
