Of More Kitchen Goodness
I’ve done it!!After months of research and consideration, I have taken the plunge. I am now the proud owner of a KitchenAid Food Processor.
I have entered the wonderful world of machines that can shred... well... pretty much anything. The first recipe to utilise it was a particularly nice Stuffed Chicken Breast dish. I made three different stuffings: Mushroom and Shallot (sautéd) combined with cream cheese, Ham and Parmesan combined with cream cheese, and Sun-Dried Tomato and Fresh Basil with cream cheese. You can get the recipe from BigOven.com.Wow, it processed good!! And the final result was delicious.Of course, I had to figure out how to assemble all the bits, not ever having used one before, and there are still some items that shipped with it that are a total mystery to me.So.I’m back in the kitchen again. It’s a nice distraction, and to be honest, I like thinking about preparing meals throughout the day, then going to source the produce and ingredients and then cooking. Therapeutic.Having this appliance means I’ll be able to develop more skills over the next few months. This is of course, a very good thing. One of the recipes on my to-attempt list is a Beef Wellington. Perhaps this weekend I’ll do that.Do you have any favourite recipes that involve a lot of food processing? I’d love to get them to try.- S
